After many a street food market, pop up and collaboration, the Oystermen (Matt Lovell and Rob Hampton) settled in Covent Garden to introduce us good folk to the oysters of Cornwall, Scotland, Dorset, Kent and North Wales. Ideally, you want to be there between 3 and 5pm, any day of the week. Why? 'Cause you can plunge into six oysters and a glass of crémant de Bourgogne for a tenner! (Crémant de Bourgogne is like champers but not made in the same region so it can't sport the same sexy name.) There's more to seafood than these salty creatures though. Watch as crabs, clams, cockles, mussels, and all sorts of fish emerge from their open kitchen. Those crab doughnuts with cucumber pickled in house, and a glass of stout - we just can't even.
