Ironmonger Row Baths
Ironmonger Row Baths opened up as a public washhouse back in the 1920s and has seen bodies of all shapes and sizes since then. Now, after a handy little £17mill refurb, it's got a rather palatial, luxurious vibe to it. It's owned by the Better gym group, meaning prices aren't too high and they've got a state of the art gym and 30m x 15m pool to do some lengths in. But what makes this place stand out is its Turkish bath and spa facilities: it's got three hot rooms, two saunas, two steam rooms and an ice-cold plunge pool. Last time we checked, it cost less than £30 for a three hour session where you can get as pampered as you like.
