Hill Garden and Pergola
This place is, quite simply, one of the most beautiful bits of London we've laid eyes upon. It was the dream of Lord Leverhulme, a very wealthy sort who wanted to create the Pergola as a magnificent Edwardian extravagance for basically having big ol' parties - he was Hampstead's answer to Jay Gatsby in some senses. Come here and you can wander through the overgrown, faded grandeur of the wisteria-covered pergola, check out the numerous flowers and find a spot all for yourself on the soft, soft grass. It's magic escapism and a fine place to take your honeypie - you can also watch many a stilted wedding photo taking place, if that's the kind of thing you like to see.
