Fiume is another venture from D&D Group - who are also responsible for Radici in Islington and Sartoria in Mayfair - with celeb chef Francesco Mazzei at the helm. It's part of a massive push by developers to dump a bunch of slightly-overpriced restos and brunch outlets in Battersea - as such, the vibes are pretty corporate. But you're not coming here for the vibes, you're coming here for reliably delicious southern Italian fare and riverfront dining. Right? The menu is divided into: really small plates ('cicchetti'), small plates ('antipasti'), pasta ('primi'), meaty dishes ('secondi'), sides ('contori'), and dessert ('dolci'). It's a real test for your A-Level Italian skills. We kicked things off with some sexy, smoky octopus, followed by the perfectly-textured crab taglioni and the insanely sumptuous burrata tortelli with black truffle. 'Per finire' live it up with a creamy tiramisu.
