Broadway Market is the street market to end all street markets; rowdy pubs, delicious food from independent stalls, pretty cafes and funked-up gift shops all line the streets. Best explored on the weekend with a hangover. Opening Times - Saturday: 09:00 to 17:00

**Closed October 1st 2018** Some of the darn tastiest food in London is happening at street food stalls rather than in restaurants. They might vary in quality but this nugget is a solid choice. There are pros and cons to Camden Market being taken over by KERB, a few independent traders will have been thrown out, but then it does mean you can choose your grub more freely without being wary of bog standard offerings. You have a hell of a lot of choice here: fried chicken, pizza, burritos, mac 'n' cheese, tacos, ice cream sandwiches, curry, steak and of course burgers. Basically all the finger food.
Any mention of Clapton and bucket-loads of cool ensue, and that's exactly the case with Biddle Bros. Situated on the frontline of London gentrification behind the spot's original shop front - this joint is a breath of fresh air, despite the many questionable mustaches it's packed with. Expect jazz in the early evening, dj's spinning ambient bangers later on and spectacularly reasonable prices, not to mention you'll find the likes of Staropramen, and Boddingtons on tap.
***Permanently Closed*** Seeing as Mare Street is a culinary paradise, it’s no surprise to find a joint in the perimeter as enjoyable as The Advisory. A hotspot for trendiness, fresh produce, damn good burgers, classic cocktails and lush bacon pancakes covered in maple syrup - this place is tiny, but you'll feel twice as big when you walk out. We'd recommend booking a table though, you wouldn't want to miss out on the chance to sink your teeth into one of the juicy bad boys on offer here.
Boxpark - Croydon
From the peeps behind the Shoreditch mainstay of the same name, comes a delightful dalliance south of the river. Don't go looking for new threads here though - this one's strictly food and drink. That doesn't mean there's anything less to smack your lips over: traders include carnivores MEATliquor, brunch heroes The Breakfast Club, vegan fave CookDaily, and more. As for the liquid stuff: Croydon heavies Brgr&Beer have opened their second venture Wine&Deli at Boxpark, and Cronx Brewery comes from the folk behind Yumn Brasserie. There will also be regular weekly events - think DJs, acoustic afternoons, workshops and all that fun stuff.
