Battersea Market Cafe 巴特西
Battersea Market Cafe is in a sort of no man's land between Battersea Park and Clapham Junction station, an area we don't often find ourselves in. When you are in such a place, a wholesome and delicious brunch plate - like those on offer here - is just the tonic. At £12 a pop, a full English doesn't come cheap but neither do locally sourced veggies, top quality bacon, butchers sausages, and fine sourdough bread, alright? If you're not up to the full shebang, there's also rainbow bowls of veg, eggs with salmon (or more veg), fruit-topped porridge, and plenty of avo. Bevvies are seen to with home-made smoothies and every colour of latte your heart could wish for: coffee, matcha, beetroot, turmeric and more - all to be drunk in calming, plant-focused surrounds with dashes of pink and some tasteful Chinese lettering, a nod to the mixed heritage of chefs Tom & Shawn.
