Musical Adaptation of Zadie Smith Novel
Add to collection

Zadie Smith’s breakthrough novel, White Teeth, is a complex, multilayered love letter to the eclectic community of Kilburn High Road - ‘a melting pot where nothing’s actually melted'. The novel has now been adapted for the stage and will be playing in Kilburn’s newly relaunched Kiln Theatre, in the very heart of the community on which it’s based. Adapted with original songs by playwright Stephen Sharkley and directed by Inda Rubasingham, this is set to be a major premiere in the theatre world - with song and dance bringing life to Smith’s already vibrant world of NW6.
