What Colour is Jazz?
Single sensory experiences are pretty outdated we’d say. It’s 2019 and if we’re gonna get all dressed up and leave the comfort of our sofas we want at least three of our fives senses tickled. Which is why we’ll be heading to Chats Palace in Hackney for an evening of music, art, and food in the name of charity. Handling the soundwaves will be the Grand Union Orchestra and the MOBO-nominated Camilla George live, alongside some recorded vibrations from Lex Blondin. Accompanying them will be original sounds and artwork from local charity Headway East London and Submit to Love Studios, who help people who have suffered brain trauma to express themselves artistically. Senegalese flavour dons Little Baobab will be on food and Five Points the libations. All in all, a great cause with excellent sights, sounds, and tastes.
