Walthamstow Garden Party
It's that time of the year when day parties pop up in various parts of town, full of people of all ages with overwhelmingly positive intentions. And there are certainly worse ways to spend a day then bopping about a free party in a park with easy listening jams and a host of other creative bits and bobs to look at. Walthamstow Garden Party is back for their 5th edition: a celebration of the arts scene in Waltham Forest in partnership with the Barbican that comes with music, theatre, cinema, crafts, poetry and decent food. This festival always pulls in a few big acts and this year is no different with Dona Onete, London African Gospel Choir and Seun Kuti & Egypt 80 among those headlining. If you get some friends together, this should be a pretty nice day. It's clean fun though, so please don't go around asking strangers for pingers.
