Too Black Too Queer 2
Queer film festivals are like buses - you wait ages for one and then two come along at the same time. While we fully expect you to dive head first into Fringe this week, we'd be remiss if we didn't give a shout out to this event, which is part of Brixton Reel Film Fest. It's hosted by two of the tastemakers of London's queer POC scene: Batty Mama and Urban World - and judging by the string of sick events they've been putting on recently, we've no reason to doubt that this will be equally lit. Short film screenings will be followed by a cabaret show and DJ set, so you can get all your stage and screen satisfaction rolled up into one sexy package. Predictably, they've sold out of advanced tickets, but you can always try your luck on the door in case there are a few no-shows.
