The Barbican's Life Rewired season is an exploration of what it means to be human in the age of tech. And this shape shifting mixture of dance, film and visual art is as ambitious and surreal as we'd expect with that theme. It's a two act performance, inspired by science fiction and time travel, that's experimental in form and technique and rife with all the disorientating, hypnotic and psychedelic imagery you could hope for. The first act is a 3D film from pioneering video artist Charles Atlas; the second a live dance performance for six dancers that's captured and projected from numerous angles. Sounds intriguing and trippy, just how we like it.
