Stephen Mottram: The Parachute + Watch The Ball
Part of the London International Mime Festival, this is a marvellous example of less being so much more. Taking puppetry to a whole new level, Stephen Mottram uses ping-pong balls and white sticks to create an intricate story of love and growth. Mottram’s inspiration is the way the mind’s neural pathways can convince you you’re seeing something you’re not - and you’ll quickly be drawn into the world he creates. It’s taking place at Jackson’s Lane, and although tickets aren’t super-cheap at £18, this show will leave one hell of an impression, and comes highly recommended.
