Reich: Music for 18 Musicians

The American minimalist composer Steve Reich's Music for 18 Musicians is the kind of mesmerising piece of music that can elevate sitting in McDonald's to the apex of experience. If you haven't heard it yet, we strongly implore you to go and do that or, alternatively, splash out and watch it performed live by the London Sinfonietta. They'll be playing it in its entirety and we're expecting goosebumps, epiphanies and tears - perhaps all at once.
