Mogadishu Soldier + Q&A
As part of the Frames of Representation documentary film festival, get a raw and personal glimpse into life in a Somalian war zone. Filmmaker Torstein Grude gave cameras to two soldiers so that they could document their lives in Mogadishu, Somalia's capital which is overrun by jihadist militants. This intimate day-in-the-life portrait of what it's actually like to live through war with all its horrors is a totally fresh angle on the whole war film genre, and is definitely worth a watch - if you can handle it. The film will be followed by a Q&A with Torstein Grude, hosted by film writer Nadia Denton.
