Gallery Lates: By The Seaside
Waving the Union Jack hasn't been so in vogue recently, but this gallery late looks to reclaim it with a kitschy, good-natured outing to the British seaside. It draws on a range of very British traditions through workshops, talks and other 'experiences'. There'll be a live band putting on a cockney sing-a-long; Eye Magazine exploring the legacy of illustrator Edward Bawden (who's work is currently on show at the gallery); a print-a-postcard workshop; a seaside soundscape; and even some vegan fish 'n' chips. If you want something wholesome and kitsch, this is for you.
