Disco Halal Summer Party
The weekly choice between brunch and dancing till the early hours feels very emblematic of our slow descent into actual adulthood (we're probably no more than 15 Saturday morning bloody marys away from getting a mortgage). So we're very grateful for this all-day brunch and disco affair for letting us do both. Berlin-via-Tel Aviv record label Disco Halal will be joining forces with the Brixton brunch dons Salon to bring a specially curated feast of Middle Eastern goodies coupled with the levantine-flavoured disco of Israel, all on a secret canal-side terrace in Hackney Wick. And once you've had your fill of shakshuka and merguez sausage, gone home and had a nap, you can head over to Bloc where the wonky disco and eastern electronics will be pumping till 6am. Ah, to be young.
