Camberwell Fair 2017
What are you doing on Saturday then? Nothing? That's pretty sad. Rectify that immediately and take a trip to Camberwell Fair. It's a free, inclusive festival that celebrates the music, people and culture of Camberwell and its surrounding areas. There will be two music stages, a market for local businesses, games, dance workshops, cocktails, craft beer, the obligatory average fairground rides and delicious food from plenty of cuisines. A pretty wholesome way to spend a Saturday.

Bang in the middle of Marylebone, sits Jikoni, a lovely restaurant where the tastes of Britain, East Africa and Asia come together on a pretty little plate. Celebrity chef Ravinder Bhogal has given up working with mad hatter Gordon Ramsay, to focus on modernising heartwarming family recipes. Think prawn toast quail scotch egg with banana ketchup and pickled cucumber, or Ras Hal Hanout lamb served with Mujadarra. Not for the faint hearted, but definitely worth a gander.
