BASTARDA x Kaizen House
If you're feeling particularly baller, like you wanna go all out on an exquisitely prepared meal with serious wine, then this could be just the ticket for you. (A £125 ticket that is.) Elizabeth Haigh was head cheffing at Pidgin in Hackney when it made it big with a Michelin star, so you could say she makes alright food. Honey Spencer is sommelier with the mostest at Nuala, so you could say she knows her wine. Put both these talented ladies together and you've got the makings of a mega Christmas feast. Be seduced by buttermilk fried chicken and caviar; pigeon, duck and goose pithivier with coffee-roasted carrots and smoked XO sprout tops; and Xmas s'mores - all paired with small batch wines, rare vintages, and hard-to-find natural vinos.
